A genuine gastropod fossil wire wrapped by me with some faux pearl glass and acrylic beads for accents.
Geologic Period: Cretaceous
From: Iron County, Utah
Ancient gastropods (snails, slugs, limpets) are survived by many modern day descendenats, some of which are virtually unchanged. Once confined to the sea, they have also adapted to freshwater and land habitats. This snail specimen is over 100 million years old.
